Job descriptionCommunicate with parents and caregivers to ensure therapy goals are supported at home and school. Collaborate with other therapists and staff to create an environment of whole-child care. Supervise OTAs (if applicable) and participate in care team meetings, planning sessions, and brainstorming parties (yes, we have those!). Keep timely and accurate notes, progress updates, and reportsbecause great documentation leads to great outcomes. Follow all relevant state regulations, licensure requirements, and internal policies with professionalism and integrity. Stay informed about new research and best practices in pediatric OT and sensory integration. Attend team trainings, CEUs, and internal learning eventswe grow together here. Contribute to quality improvement efforts, audits, and our shared mission of excellence. A Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Texas. Experience in pediatrics is a big plus, but a passion for helping kids is a must! Strong understanding of sensory integration, motor development, and functional skills. Excellent communication skillsfor kids, parents, and fellow team members. What Youll Be Doing :
As a Pediatric OT at Little Land, youll blend science and play to help kids achieve milestones and master life skillsall while having a blast.
Assessment & Intervention
- Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, self-care abilities, and more.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect each childs unique strengths, challenges, and goals.
- Use movement, creativity, and purposeful play to promote independence, confidence, and function.
