Serving patients from a 12-county region, Health Center has been recognized at the national and state levels for quality of care. This regional provider offers a wide array of services that include cancer care, heart and vascular care / heart surgery, neurosciences including neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology, OB / GYN, gastrointestinal services, behavioral health, physical rehabilitation, home care, long-term care, assisted living and paramedic / ambulance services. Consists of five hospitals and various medical office locations Network of more than 600 experienced physicians, surgeons, mid-level providers, and caregivers strive to provide clinically excellent health care through a wide range of services. Caring for a 12-county region, we employ practitioners in a broad range of specialties recognized at the national and state levels for quality of care. In fiscal year 2020, we provided more $51.5 million in community benefit to those in the regions we serve. Williamsport, PA is located in the scenic Susquehanna Valley of northcentral Pennsylvania. Gastroenterology Hospitalist opening : Williamsport, PA Located 100m to Scranton, PAH1 Eligible About the Job
- Full-time, permanent
- Hospital employed
- Dynamic group physicians and APPs is committed to providing the latest techniques & advanced procedures to their patients for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal and liver diseases.
- 7 days on / 7 days off block schedule
- Dedicated PA / NP support, available to round on inpatients and answer questions from hospitalists / nursing staffInpatient consults and procedures with minimal outpatient procedures
- Dedicated procedure room available every day Average inpatient census - 3 to 6 new consults with total of 8 to 20 total patients
- All procedures are CRNA supported with anesthesiologist support and oversight
- Answering service takes after hours calls (prep issues, refills, etc)
- Collegial and supportive Hospitalist service
- Support from Interventional Radiology, Acute Care Surgery, Vascular Surgery
- Radiology with US, CT, MRI / MRCP available on campus
- Therapeutic endoscopist on staff (EUS / ERCP / luminal stenting, etc)
