Vice President of Operational Innovation

The Opportunity :

The Vice President of Operational Innovation is responsible for supporting the development, planning, and execution of the company's strategic initiatives. While this role sits in Operations, the work of this role will be cross-functional both within Operations and across Ensemble. In this role, the VP will work closely with senior leadership, department leaders, various teams, customers, and vendor partners to ultimately drive execution on high-value key strategic initiatives and projects, with a particular focus on innovative development and deployment of technology (RPA, ML, AI, and generative AI) to improve Ensemble's competitive positioning in the end-to-end revenue cycle market.

Essential Job Functions :

  • Provide thought leadership and evaluate feasibility of potential new internal and client facing services, capabilities, and solutions; partner with internal and external subject matter experts to formulate recommendations; present analysis and recommendations to key stakeholders including COO, CEO, Executive Counsel, and Sponsors.
  • Develop plans to execute assigned strategic initiatives and projects; collaborate with Project Management Office and other stakeholders as needed to formulate and document plans, establish success metrics, align resources, and gain commitments for execution
  • Lead project teams to drive execution of strategic initiatives and projects; coach, support, and empower teams to organize and deliver results; provide timely updates to teams and stakeholders on progress and outcomes / metrics; help remove barriers and obstacles as needed. Lead agile teams and advocate for agile best practices.
  • Work closely with SVP, Operational Excellence + Innovation, COO and other senior business leaders to support the cost-effective scaling of the operational infrastructure and operational improvement initiatives
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to improve cross-functional coordination, structure, processes and reporting; broker positive relationships throughout the organization and help drive speed to value. Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Strong leadership and communications, Excellent organizational and time management, Deep understanding of operations, Ability to solve complex problems and pivot quickly based on feedback, Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities
  • Support leadership team in creating content and crafting messaging for key meetings, including strategic planning sessions, monthly management reviews and sponsor meetings, ensuring content is clearly communicated, accurate, consistent and articulates a cohesive story.
