Job Responsibilities :
Operational Leadership
Lead the strategic design, acquisition, management, and implementation of an enterprise-wide technology infrastructure.
Oversee the Technology Department, including Information Systems, Operations, Project Management, and Web Services.
Promote innovative use of technology to enhance organizational performance, data analysis, and on-demand learning.
Direct daily operations of technology systems and ensure optimal productivity for all technology users.
Coordinate professional learning and training programs related to technology integration.
Organizational Climate & Collaboration
Model leadership behaviors that promote organizational values and culture.
Engage colleagues in developing a shared vision and sense of commitment to goals and priorities.
Foster collaboration, collegiality, and high expectations across all departments.

Maintain focus on improving user and stakeholder experiences through technology.
Provide leadership for innovation and ethical use of emerging technologies, including AI.
Analyze and synthesize data to inform insights, strategy, and decision-making.
Design and manage both short- and long-range technology plans aligned with organizational objectives.
Oversee information security, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
Direct and implement technical systems, network infrastructure, standards, and integration of technology across all departments.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, vendors, and leadership teams.
Personnel Management
Determine staffing needs, recruit, and select qualified personnel for technology roles.
Supervise and evaluate Technology Department staff performance.
Establish professional development programs to improve staff competencies and support the department mission.
Administrative, Fiscal, and Facilities Management
Provide management oversight and coordination for all Technology Department functions.
Prepare reports and maintain accurate records in compliance with administrative regulations.
Assist in preparing and managing the annual technology budget, including monitoring expenditures.
Ensure fiscal control, compliance management, and risk evaluation for technology assets.
Oversee procurement, bid specifications, vendor evaluation, and contract management for technology systems.
Support technology needs related to construction and facility projects.
Community & Stakeholder Relations
Communicate organizational technology goals, achievements, and directions to internal and external stakeholders.
Foster partnerships with business, community, and educational leaders to advance technology initiatives.
Promote a positive image of the organization through professional communication and engagement.
Professional Growth & Conduct
Use feedback and performance data to enhance leadership effectiveness.
Maintain ethical conduct, professional judgment, and flexibility in performing assigned duties.
Demonstrate collaboration, accountability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
Job Requirements :
Education & Certification
Bachelorâ??s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related fieldÂ
Masterâ??s Degree
Certified Education Technology Leader certificationÂ
Experience
Minimum five (5) years leading a progressive technology organization (required)
Minimum three (3) years in the design, implementation, and integration of enterprise technology systems (preferred)
Leadership experience in a large-scale environment preferred
Knowledge & Skills
Comprehensive understanding of data center technologies, data management, and enterprise application integration.
Broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies and their strategic application.
Strong program and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
Demonstrated ability to deliver customer-focused service and manage service level agreements.
Experience developing and maintaining IT policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
