Description :

It serves as the region’s referral center for trauma and stroke care.

The facility has earned accolades for patient safety and quality of service.

The adult medical-surgical unit is a 34-bed unit.

Staff includes charge nurses, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, and health unit coordinators.

On day shift, the patient ratios are 1 nurse to 4-6 patients.

On night shift, the patient ratios are 1 nurse to 5-7 patients.

The unit is equipped for intravenous fluids, tube feeds, and antibiotics.

Ideal candidates are team players.

Nurses are expected to assist fellow staff members when needed.

Required certifications include BLS.

Weekend work is required, with every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per pay period.

Candidates without the must-have skills will not be considered for the role.

Candidates with ACLS certification will be given priority.
