Job description

Job Title : Locum Tenens Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician

Location : Lawton, OK

Job Type : Full-Time, Locum Tenens

Start Date : ASAP

Duration : Minimum 1 Year Commitment

Pay Rate : $100 $125 per hour Position Overview :

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) Physician for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Lawton, OK . This long-term role offers stability, a flexible work environment, and the chance to provide essential care in a well-supported outpatient clinic. Responsibilities :

  • Provide primary care services to a diverse adult and / or family population
  • Perform routine physical exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
  • Coordinate patient care and make referrals as needed
  • Document patient visits thoroughly in the EMR system
  • Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure high-quality care

Schedule & Details :

  • Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM (No weekends or call)
  • Start Date : As soon as credentialed
  • Duration : Minimum one-year contract with potential to extend
  • Setting : Outpatient only
  • Patient Volume : Manageable caseload, mostly scheduled visits

    • Qualifications :

  • MD or DO with active medical license in Oklahoma (or ability to obtain)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
  • Current DEA license and BLS certification
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
