Description

Markey’s provides creative as well as technical audio-visual solutions for client events at the Hilton Garden Inn Perrysburg. The Supervisor is a client-facing position responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional service at the property.

This is a full-time, hourly (non-exempt) position with primarily daytime hours, though some early mornings, late evenings, and weekends may be required based on event schedules.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing daily events, personnel, and equipment inventory.
  • Collaborate with clients and facility staff to ensure complete satisfaction and seamless event execution.
  • Create and review equipment orders, labor orders, and billing.
  • Attend daily and weekly meetings with clients and facility staff as needed.
  • Support setup, operation, and teardown of AV equipment as needed.
  • Work cooperatively with both Markey’s and hotel staff to maintain a high level of service.
  • Always maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance.
  • Handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Two years of combined experience in event technology and management.
  • Strong working knowledge of A / V equipment, including audio, electrical, lighting, and video.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office 365; operational knowledge of R2 is a plus.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule as dictated by business needs.
  • Exceptional time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
