Nurse Practitioner, NP / Physician Assistant – ProgressiveHealth Occ Health, LLC – Canton, MS

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team to support a major manufacturer in Canton, MS with an onsite health and wellness clinic for employees and their families. This position will provide occupational, acute, occupational, and health improvement services. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive, supportive, and innovative team!

What will you be doing in this role?

• Providing direct, onsite patient care services and other professional services to meet client-requested coverage hours along with formulating and administering health programs and clinic protocols, as needed
• Providing episodic, occupational, acute, primary, and preventative health care to patients
• Conducting histories and physical examinations and prescribing medications and / or medical treatments based on evidence-based practice standards
• Collaborating with the client, nursing staff, and the operations team in determining, executing, and implementing protocols, formularies, emergency plans, and quality assurance programs for the clinic under the state laws, rules, and regulations governing collaborative relationships
• Be readily available to give consultation in the provision of health care to patients
• Providing guidance and education to any additional clinical staff as appropriate
