Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position with required call and a current KY or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Cath Lab of a hospital setting

Day shifts from 7 : 00 am to 7 : 30 pm

On-call coverage is required

13-week contract assignment

Role involves providing specialized care and assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures

Collaboration with Cath Lab team is essential for maintaining patient safety and care quality

Hospital requires compliance with COVID and flu vaccination protocols with no exceptions

Candidates may need to work holidays if assigned

Requirements

Active KY or compact RN license required

Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience

Current AHA certifications including BLS and ACLS must be provided and cannot expire within the start month

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start

Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training required (can be completed onsite)

Proof of full COVID-19 and flu vaccination required

Candidates must not have any disciplinary hits on their nursing license

Gaps in work history of 3 months or more require an explanation

No local candidates (must live more than 50 miles from facility)
