Superintendent - Mechanical / Electrical (Commercial Construction)

Overview

We're seeking an experienced Mechanical / Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations for large commercial construction projects in the Columbus area. This role oversees all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) scopes — ensuring safety, schedule, and quality standards are consistently met.

You'll be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, leading field teams, and managing day-to-day activities related to the installation, commissioning, and turnover of mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate MEP subcontractors and field crews
• Oversee jobsite safety, schedule, and quality control
• Manage project logistics, manpower, and progress tracking
• Review drawings and specifications for compliance and constructability
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and owners to resolve field issues
• Support commissioning, inspections, and project closeout activities
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Interns
