About The Position

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Pulmonary Critical Care Physician for a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in Sioux City, Iowa . This position offers a balanced schedule, a manageable patient load, and a supportive environment with minimal APP supervision required.

Position Overview :

Location : Sioux City, IA

Setting : Inpatient ICU

Schedule :

Day Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM (in-house)

Night Call : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (off-site call)

Patient Census : ~13 ICU patients per day

ICU Beds : 12 out of 200 total hospital beds

Responsibilities : ICU patient management only; minimal oversight of independently practicing APPs

EMR System : Cerner

Submission Requirements :

Board Certification in Pulmonary Critical Care – Required

Active Iowa License or Active IMLC with LOQ in hand – Required

ACLS, DEA, and CSR – Required

Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 – Required
