We are looking for an experienced VP / Director of Finance to oversee and enhance the financial operations of our organization. This long-term contract position is based in Roseville, Minnesota, and requires a strategic leader skilled in managing budgets, financial reporting, and compliance processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting and finance, paired with the ability to guide the organization in achieving its fiscal goals.

Responsibilities :

Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.

Prepare and present monthly financial reports to the board, ensuring accuracy and clarity.

Develop and oversee annual budgets, aligning financial plans with organizational objectives.

Track and report on grants, ensuring compliance with funding requirements.

Conduct detailed account and bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.

Lead the preparation of Form 990 and coordinate audit processes to meet regulatory standards.

Monitor cash flow and create forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

Enhance month-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Requirements - A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management.

Proven expertise in annual budgeting and financial reporting.

Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and cash flow forecasting.

Demonstrated ability to manage grant tracking and reporting.

Experience with audit preparation and compliance requirements.

Advanced skills in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to stakeholders.
