ER RN Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Worcester, MA 01605 (Massachusetts healthcare jobs) Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Contract Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 16 / 2025 – End : 3 / 17 / 2026) Setting : Emergency Room (ER) Shift : Mid Shift, 3x12-Hour Nights (15 : 00 – 03 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $2250 - $2310 Patient Age Groups : Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Daily Census : 120 patients Number of Beds : 44 Weekend / Holiday Coverage : Every other weekend and one major holiday required Orientation : 24 hours ER Registered Nurse Qualifications Active and valid Massachusetts RN license (required prior to start) Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC (required for ER nursing jobs) Proficient in titrating critical care drips and managing ventilated patients Level I Trauma Center experience preferred Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) Pass / fail Telemetry exam during orientation (80% passing score required) Strong triage and dysrhythmia interpretation skills Experience with OB patient population preferred At least 1 year of overall nursing experience required ER RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting Triage and assess patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics Manage critical care drips and ventilated patients in the ER Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions Participate in orientation and complete required training modules Work every other weekend and one major holiday during the contract period Discover why Worcester is a top destination for travel nurses—enjoy a lively downtown, diverse dining, and easy access to outdoor recreation.
