AlliedTravelCareers is working with Acruex Health to find a qualified X-Ray Tech in Berlin, New Hampshire, 03570!

Pay Information

$29 to $37 per hour

About The Position

Permanent (Full Time)

Currently offering a $7,500 Sign-on Bonus

Pay Rate : $29.32 - $36.65 / hourly.

Summary : The Radiologic Technologist operates under the direction of the radiologists and the supervision of the Director of Radiology, operates a Computerized Tomographic scanner to image the head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and extremities.

Responsibilities :

Using x-ray equipment to take radiographic images of patients' bones, tissues, and organs as per physicians’ written orders.

Explaining x-ray procedures to patients and answering their questions.

Positioning patients accordingly, which may include lifting and moving patients with limited mobility.

Limiting patients' exposure to radiation by placing lead shields on patients where needed.

Ensuring that the x-rays taken are of sound quality to prevent repeat procedures.

Job Requirements

Requirements :

Must be a graduate of an American Medical Association-approved school of radiologic technology and be registered in at least radiography. Required.

Additional certification in computed tomography. Preferred.

Training and / or experience specific to radiology practices regarding neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and must be willing to cross-train in additional imaging modalities. Required.

Proven ability to interact effectively with patients, co-workers, practitioners, and visitors, willingness to work in a team-oriented environment, ability to work independently, and effective communication skills. Required.

Familiarity with computer applications Required.

ARRT Certification.

BLS Certification.
