About this role :
We are looking for a Master Data Management Senior Product Owner to join our Chief Data and Analytics team. In this role, you will lead initiatives focused on customer data foundations, process improvements, and comprehensive data management strategies.
What you'll do :
- Establish and maintain alignment on the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Work with both business and technical teams, on-site and offshore, to develop key deliverables, including Data Flow Diagrams, Business and Functional Requirements, User Stories, and User Acceptance Tests.
- Translate customer needs into detailed user stories that provide clarity for your team and stakeholders.
- Continuously prioritize and refine backlog items, balancing business value, technical feasibility, and long-term strategy while managing dependencies across teams.
- Collaborate with the technical team to enforce quality standards, conduct user acceptance testing, and ensure that the product meets all acceptance criteria.
- Gain an understanding of relevant business areas, technical options, limitations, costs, and risks to effectively communicate trade-offs and recommend solutions.
- Review data records and attributes regularly to ensure data quality and generate insights that enhance the transparency and value of data across Gartner.
- Maintain documentation for shared file systems and ensure adherence to quality processes and procedures.
- Support analysts, business process owners, and project managers to drive key business initiatives.
- Manage a team of product owners and data analysts to achieve impactful business outcomes.
What you'll need :
7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, ideally within a Master Data Management or Analytics environment.2-3 years of leadership experience managing teams.Proficiency in Scrum / Agile methodologies.Exceptional communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical professionals.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a penchant for problem-solving and documenting business, user, and functional requirements efficiently.A knack for breaking down complex business processes into manageable components for various audiences.Experience with tools such as MS Excel, MS Word, Google Suite, MS Visio, Lucid Chart, JIRA, and Confluence.Advanced proficiency in SQL and a basic understanding of data analysis tools and techniques is a plus.What you will get :
