ABOUT THE JOB

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES

You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record that meets company standards, plus access to an insured vehicle for delivery. You should possess navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area and must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings.

Responsibilities

Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
Prepare products and receive / process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete related paperwork; maintain clean equipment and facility daily.
Deliver pizzas and other products, ensuring timely and accurate orders within the designated delivery area.
Assist with store operations and customer service as needed.

Training

Orientation and on-the-job training are provided.

Qualifications

General requirements

Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to process orders by phone and in person.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately; may use a calculator; ability to make correct monetary change.

Proficiency in entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses; ability to navigate stairs and other delivery sites when carrying product.

Work Conditions

Includes exposure to varying weather, indoor temperatures from coolers (~36) to hot work areas, food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces up to 500+ degrees, sharp edges and moving parts; driving and delivering in diverse conditions.

Sensing and Temperament

Ability to talk and hear on the telephone; vision requirements for in-store tasks, driving, and safety.

Capacity to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, and interact with customers and team members.

Physical Requirements

Standing for long periods; walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds; frequent reaching, bending, crouching, and climbing as needed for duties such as stocking, maintenance, and delivery.

Carrying pizzas and beverages during deliveries; pushing / pulling trays; occasional stair climbing; and manual dexterity for keyboards, tools, and equipment.

Driving Specific Job Duties

Deliver product within the designated area and may complete several deliveries per shift; deliver flyers and door hangers as required.

Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
