The Nursing Assistant may provide direct hands on care and perform delegated nursing care tasks set forth by the Board of Nursing in administrative rules. In surgery, the Nursing Assistant may work under the supervision of a perioperative registered nurse. The licensed nurse may need to limit the range of tasks based on patient needs, situation, or available resources and shall supervise all nursing tasks, functions, and activities. The Nursing Assistant works collaboratively with the perioperative, pre- and post-op nursing staff, clerical staff, and material management.
Join our team as a Casual Nursing Assistant, supporting our five Surgery Centers located in Woodbury, Eagan, Vadnais Heights, Plymouth, and Minnetonka. In this role, you'll have a designated home base and will float to other locations as needed, providing exceptional patient care and teamwork across our network. Schedule : Monday-Friday, variable daytime hours Start times range between 7 : 00 AM and 10 : 00 AM.
Responsibilities :
Summit's hiring range for this position is $18.40 to $23.00 per hour. The hired candidate may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, differentials, and / or deferred compensation. Qualifications :
Education : High School (required)
Experience : Previous Nursing Assistant experience is preferred.
Skills : Basic Life Support (required)
