Environmental health and safety (EHS) coordinators work to create and enforce a culture of safety within their organizations. You implement programs, policies, and assessments to ensure their company follows all federal and internal health and safety rules. You will work closely with manufacturing operations, engineering, and leadership teams in order to accomplish goals.

At ST Engineering MRAS, we are also rapidly augmenting our maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities leveraging the company's expanded aircraft nacelle portfolio as well as it's materials and processing expertise.

What YOU will do

• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and business requirements on the shop floor
• Engage operations teams to ensure effective implementation of key EHS programs and improve organizational culture
• Work directly with Assembly and Bonding employees on quantifying risk and motivate them to be a part of the improvement process
• Lead corrective action teams for all injuries and investigations in manufacturing setting
• Train hourly employees on items relating to Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance requirements as well as Business Priorities such as Behavioral Based Safety and Hazard Recognition
• Work both indoors and outdoors around a manufacturing facility with heavy equipment and overhead cranes.
• Maintain and conduct periodic audits and inspections of safety equipment on site

Estimate salary range for this role : $25 to $36.50 per hour. Overtime eligible role. ST Engineering considers several factors with extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, education / training / certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
