We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with various materials and tools to create high-quality metal products for construction and manufacturing projects. The Metal Fabricator will play a crucial role in ensuring that all fabrication tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate metal components.

Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques to join metal parts securely.

Operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery including press brake machines, plasma cutters, and forklifts.

Measure materials using calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills to ensure precise dimensions.

Perform rigging tasks as needed for lifting heavy components safely.

Conduct assembly of fabricated parts into final products or structures.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Collaborate with team members on construction sites to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

Proven experience in metal fabrication, welding (MIG, TIG, FCAW), and assembly.

Familiarity with construction site environments and practices.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate cranes and forklifts safely.

Experience with ductwork fabrication and pipe threading is a plus.

Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery relevant to metalworking.

Knowledge of ASME codes & standards is preferred.

Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
