Job Title: Chief Engineer
Location: Saint Joseph, Missouri (Onsite)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic leader who will oversee engineering operations and ensure the safe, efficient function of all facility infrastructure and equipment. Our team values proactive management and technical excellence to support continuous improvement in a complex manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction for the engineering team, including oversight of hiring, training, and professional development initiatives.
• Manage and coordinate all maintenance activities for facility infrastructure and production equipment, ensuring timely diagnoses and resolution of technical issues.
• Develop, implement, and refine preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance procedures to optimize operational reliability.
• Direct the selection, scheduling, and supervision of contractors while maintaining high performance standards and compliance with safety protocols.

Experience/Minimum Requirements:

• 7+ years of related experience in a comparable engineering leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated experience managing teams and providing technical guidance in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Universal CFC EPA certification and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• Ability to regularly perform physical duties such as lifting up to 50 lbs., using ladders up to 30 feet, climbing, kneeling, bending, and driving on site.
