Marketing Coordinator
PrideStaff on behalf of an amazing company in the Fort Lauderdale area is seeking a Marketing Coordinator who has experience dealing with tradeshows and events. This dynamic individual must be able to market products by developing and implementing marketing activities via tradeshow, events and trainings. This person will also track sales data; maintain promotional materials inventory; plan meetings and trade shows; develop sales tools/demo kits, maintain databases; prepare reports, and monitor assigned budgets. This is a project until June 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Implements management policies and processes related to all Tradeshow and Events Marketing activities
- Sponsorship requests, professional conference programs, and media relations
- Promotional materials graphics requirements, procurement process, and inventory stock
- Plans meetings, trade shows, events and presentations
- Identifies, assembles, and coordinating requirements
- Establishes contacts
- Develops schedules and assignments
- Coordinates mailing lists
- Logs expenses in Salesforce.com
- Manages Tradeshow and Events Budget allocation
- Works with Sales to ensure ongoing Tradeshow and Events Success
- Reviews and evaluates Tradeshow and Events Sponsorship opportunities
- Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Makes recommendations on events and sponsorship budgets
- Be able to generate reports from Salesforce.com
- Supports sales staff
- Provides sales data, market trends, new product information
- Relays customer services requests
- Performs other duties according to business needs
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing/ Business administration/ Public Relations and a minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in Tradeshow planning and coordination, development and promotion of services, programs or organizations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer skills; email & general business software (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, SalesForce, Photoshop, etc.)
- Demonstrated Communication skills (oral & written)
- Effective Planning and Organizational skills
- Must have proficient typing skills
- Ability to work effectively alone and within a team environment
- Ability to maintain job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications
