Overview

Responsibilities
Interpret, verify, and accurately transcribe medication orders into the pharmacy system
Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals safely and efficiently
Monitor drug therapy for contraindications, interactions, allergies, and appropriate dosing
Support formulary management and promote rational drug therapy selection
Provide timely, accurate medication information to healthcare staff and patients
Assist with clinical services including drug consults, nutrition support, pharmacokinetics, anticoagulation, pain management, IV-to-PO conversion, and renal dosing
Document all clinical interventions and activities accurately
Report medication errors and adverse drug reactions promptly
Supervise pharmacy operations and support pharmacy staff workflow
Qualifications
Required :
B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
Active Florida pharmacist license in good standing
Minimum 1 year of recent acute hospital clinical pharmacy experience
Preferred :
Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment
Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
Experience working independently and collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly pay : $58.15-$73.56 based on experience
Shift Differentials : $3.00 / hr evenings; $6.00 / hr nights
Sign-On Bonus : $10,000 paid over 2 years in five installments
