Primary Responsibilities

• End user support of Linux, Mac and Windows workstations.
• Installation and configuration of complex scientific software packages.
• Proactively monitor, analyze, and correct system issues.
• Maintaining system backups.
• Resolving system security issues – including patching, risk analysis and security plans.
• Assist with monitoring and management of storage systems.
• Linux and Windows server administration.
• End user support in tracking and resolving issues via ticketing system.
• Develop and maintain system documentation.

Ansible playbook development in a collaborative environment using Git or Gitlab repos Red Hat Certifications : (e.g., Red Hat Certified System Administrator - RHCSA, Red Hat Certified Engineer - RHCE) :

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

CompTIA Security+ Server+

Microsoft Certified : Windows Server Hybrid Administrator

AWS Certifications : (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator)

Microsoft Azure Certifications : (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert)
