Director Of Operational Excellence (Executive Support To CEO)

Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed RN to serve as Director of Operational Excellence, directly supporting our CEO. In this high-impact role, you will evaluate organizational performance, analyze key data, ensure compliance, and drive improvement across multiple senior living communities. This position requires regular travel to communities and a strong ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
What You'll Do
- Analyze organizational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Serve as an internal consultant to leadership teams, providing actionable recommendations.
- Oversee compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct on-site visits to assess quality, culture, and operational standards.
- Monitor KPIs across communities and develop improvement action plans.
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to embed Civitas' culture and values throughout all operations.
What We're Looking For
Must be a licensed RN (Registered Nurse) or LNHA (Licensed Nursing Home Administrator).Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or related field (Master's preferred).7+ years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, compliance, or performance improvement.Proven ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable strategies.Proficiency with Excel, Business Intelligence Platforms and project management tools (e.g. Smartsheet).Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Comfortable with up to 25% travel and working in community-based senior living environments.Why Join Civitas?
