The U.S. Navy is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist to serve as a Active Duty Medical Corps Officer —providing care to service members and their families in a full-time, in-person role.

Position Details

  • Specialty : Anesthesiology
  • Status : Active Duty, Full-Time
  • Starting Annual Compensation : $300,000 to $350,000

Choose any of the following locations including (but not limited to) :

  • San Diego, CA
  • Portsmouth, VA
  • Camp Lejeune, NC
  • Okinawa, Japan
  • Guam
  • GITMO

    • Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver anesthesia for surgical procedures
  • Manage pain control and patient safety in perioperative settings
  • Operate in a variety of Navy medical facilities, based on training and assignment

  • $600,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • $59,000 Annual Specialty Incentive Pay
  • $8,000 Annual Board Certification Pay
  • Continuing Medical Education (CME) Allowance / Reimbursement
  • 30 Days of PTO (plus federal holidays)

    • Eligibility Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution (or ECFMG certified)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Between the ages of 21 and 63 (Federal Law : Title 10 U.S. Code section 531 and 532)
