Credit & Collections Representative

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable from our customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of credit and collections processes, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Credit Collections Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization by ensuring timely payments and resolving any issues related to overdue accounts. Key responsibilities include contacting customers to collect overdue payments and maintaining accurate records of all collection activities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance or accounting, with a proven track record of reducing delinquency rates and improving cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact customers to collect overdue payments.
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities.
• Analyze customer accounts to identify overdue balances.
• Prepare and send out invoices and account statements.
• Identify and escalate high-risk accounts to management.
• Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers.
• Handle customer inquiries and disputes professionally.
