Our client is seeking a Buyer to join a leading medical device manufacturer in Littleton, MA. This role is critical to the Supply Chain team, responsible for sourcing components, materials, and services essential to the design and production of complex electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities :
- Support internal and external audits.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers.
- Compile and present procurement metrics and reports.
- Expedite critical materials to maintain production schedules.
- Participate in root cause and corrective action activities.
- Ensure compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 standards.
- Maintain purchasing records and ensure compliance with internal systems.
- Perform cost analysis and support make / buy decisions and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Monitor supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.
- Source, quote, negotiate, and issue purchase orders for custom machined parts, wire harnesses, PCBs, subassemblies, and specialized services.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews and vendor visits.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production on prototypes, ECOs, and part obsolescence.
Qualifications :
Knowledge of FDA and ISO 13485 compliance.Strong negotiation, cost analysis, and supplier management skills.Familiarity with low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environments.Proficiency with ERP / MRP systems (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite)4-6 years of procurement or supply chain experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing.High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory.Benefits & Perks :
