Business Analyst

TITLE : Senior IT Business Analyst

LOCATION : Portland, OR (Hybrid – three days onsite, two remote)

PAY : Target pay for this role is $50–60 per hour, but may vary based on experience

ENGAGEMENT TYPE : Contract-to-Hire

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you’ll lead complex, cross-organizational technology projects with a special focus on AI-driven decision-making and process improvement. You’ll partner with business leaders and technical teams to gather and document requirements, translate high-level scope into actionable deliverables, and mentor less experienced analysts. You’ll facilitate workshops, oversee testing and change management, and work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI and automation to enhance operations and member experience.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You have 5–7 years of experience in complex technology business analysis or process improvement, with strong skills in SDLC and Agile / Scrum methodologies. You’ve worked in at least one of the following areas : business intelligence, data management / modeling / maintenance, digital change, or AI.

You can confidently influence and collaborate with executives, and you hold professional business analysis training or certification (CBAP, BABOK, Agile / Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma).

Experience in the financial services industry, SQL knowledge, and hands-on use of AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, chatbots, or predictive analytics are all strong pluses.
