Qualifications Requirements:
Accounting Supervisor
A well established healthcare company in Nashville is looking to add an Accounting Supervisor to their team. This individual will be responsible for training Staff and Senior Accountants as well as reviewing work as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise the accurate and timely completion of month-end close including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, income statement analysis, Financial Packages, and Tax Packages, and Cost Reports
- Oversee the annual budget process including presentations to senior management
- Assist the Accounting Manager as needed, including review of Financial Packages, completion of special requests/reports from senior management, and review of Accounts Payable batches
- Backup Accounting Manager position as needed
- Assist in the completion of internal and external audits including providing documentation and explanations as required
- Provide on-going feedback to team members including annual performance reviews
- Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.
Qualifications Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required, MAcc/MBA preferred
- 5-8 years account experience required
- CPA Preferred
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Communication (written and verbal) interpersonal
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Background in Healthcare
- Leadership skills
- Solid analytical skills and knowledge of Excel
