Job Overview The Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic role is responsible for overseeing and performing maintenance, repair, and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles and select armored vehicles. This involves inspecting, servicing, maintaining, repairing, replacing, adjusting, and testing of automotive electrical systems, including wiring harnesses and starting and charging systems.
Key Responsibilities :
Inspect and diagnose issues with vehicle electrical systems.
Servicing and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
Repair and replace faulty components as needed.
Test and verify the functionality of repaired or replaced systems.
Requirements :
A U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.
Aged 17-34.
A High School Diploma or equivalent.
No major law violations or medical concerns.
Training and Certification :
10 weeks of Basic Training.
14 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.
Opportunity to acquire 124 nationally recognized certifications.
