Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL), you will ensure and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while coordinating departmental functions during your shifts. You will collaborate with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care per established policies, acting as a resource for staff and championing our organizational vision and values.
Responsibilities include :
Assisting with admission and discharge processes to ensure quality care and efficient throughput.Assessing ongoing patient care quality in collaboration with the management team.Fostering teamwork among staff to enhance patient outcomes and service quality.Promoting a patient-first philosophy and facilitating service recovery when needed.Engaging in nursing strategies and initiatives to improve staff engagement.Participating in staffing processes, including recruitment and training of new staff.Recommending actions for training, conflict resolution, and employee evaluations to maintain a competitive organization.Assisting with staff scheduling and managing labor according to patient needs.Monitoring supply and equipment inventory effectively.Qualifications :
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start.NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of employment start.Registered Nurse (RN) license.Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.Mission Hospital serves as a regional care center, licensed for 853 beds and recognized as a trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.
