Physical Therapist - Rehab Services - Weekend Coverage - Acute Care :

  • $15,000 Sign On Bonus Position.
  • Competitive Salary, based on experience.

  • This position has flexible scheduling but does requires weekends.
  • This position comes with weekend pay of 25% on top of employees base rate for hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.

  • What You'll Do :

  • As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will provide exceptional care to patients in an outpatient setting. Your responsibilities will include :
  • Conducting initial evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Administering various therapeutic treatments, including exercises, manual therapy, modalities (such as ultrasound, heat / ice therapy, and electrical stimulation), and patient education.
  • Educating patients on exercise programs, posture correction, and injury prevention to ensure long-term recovery and improved functional outcomes.
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
  • Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed to meet their rehabilitation goals.
  • Documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with departmental policies and industry standards.
  • Providing excellent patient education to empower individuals in managing their rehabilitation and preventing future injuries.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment, adhering to infection control and safety guidelines.
  • What We're Looking For :

  • Experience :  Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred.
  • Licensure :  Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Physical Therapist license in the state at the time of hire.
  • Education :  A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program is required.
  • Certifications :  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Skills :  Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and team members. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Patient Care :  Ability to deliver high-quality, compassionate care for a wide range of patients, including those with orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Physical Demands :  Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds with assistance. Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and moving patients during treatment sessions.
