About The Position

Job Title : Cath Lab Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Cath Lab Tech

Duration : 12 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years

License : GA or Compact license required

Certifications : ACLS

ARRT R

BLS

CCI RCIS (RCIS or ARRT)

Must-Have :

Previous charge experience

Charting system experience (Epic preferred)

Description :

Diagnosis includes but is not limited to :

• Left / Right heart diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
• PCI balloon angioplasty procedures
• PCI procedures utilizing drug-eluting stents
• PCI procedures utilizing non-drug-eluting stents
• Pericardiocentesis
• Aortograms
• Peripheral angiograms
• Peripheral balloon angioplasty
• Peripheral stent placement
• Cardiomems placement
• Temporary pacemakers
• IABP / Impella placement
• Chest pain
• CAD
• STEMI
• Cardiogenic shock
• Tamponade

Schedule :

Monday-Friday with variable days off

Weekend coverage required with call shifts

Call :

Average 10-14 days per month, including weekends

Floating :

Within facility / scope of practice as needed

Clinical Screening :

Candidate will be reviewed clinically to determine fit

Clinical screens are sent on a case-by-case basis

Request Time Off : Maximum of 7 days

Holidays : Traveler is expected to work during major holidays

If one or two major holidays occur, availability is required

If three major holidays occur, availability for two is required

Compliance :

Full compliance required to start on time
