Lily Palmer Floral and Gift boutique in Nashville International Airport seeks and experienced retail manager. We are seeking a highly organized, people-focused manager to lead our airport location and support the development and opening of other major growth initiatives :
This role is ideal for a strong operator with retail leadership experience who enjoys building structure, coaching teams, and elevating the guest experience. Floral design experience is not required but is a plus.
Key Responsibilities Retail & Operational Leadership :
- Oversee daily operations of the airport location, ensuring flawless execution, speed, and brand consistency.
- Manage inventory, ordering, merchandising displays, and product flow to maximize sales.
- Maintain visual standards for bouquets, grab-and-go items, seasonal displays, and branded retail.
- Support setup, staffing, and launch operations for the upcoming street-side shop.
- Assist in developing SOPs, training materials, and operational templates for new locations and franchise units.
Team Management & Development :
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of retail associates and bouquet specialists.Recruit, hire, schedule, and onboard team members.Conduct ongoing training and performance development focused on guest experience, speed of service, and quality.Model SLA Worldwide’s values of hospitality, professionalism, and integrity.Brand Standards & Compliance :
Ensure strict adherence to retail and customer-service standards.Lead by example in following airport compliance requirements, safety processes, and SLA Worldwide operating procedures.Audit store conditions, cleanliness, merchandising, and cash-handling procedures.Franchise Development Support :
Assist leadership in documenting operational steps and best practices for franchise replication.Provide operational data and insights to shape the streetside models.Participate in test projects, pilots, and new product rollouts to refine the franchise standard.Represent the brand professionally during meetings, vendor interactions, and franchise consultations.Customer Experience :
Deliver a warm, premium, hospitality-driven guest experiences consistent with the luxury standard.Provide helpful product knowledge, bouquet customization guidance, and service recovery when needed.Maintain a strong presence at the airport location to anticipate and exceed traveler expectations.3–5+ years of retail management experience (airport retail, specialty retail, boutique retail, or hospitality preferred).Proven success in managing teams, delivering results, and elevating customer experience.Strong understanding of retail fundamentals : inventory management, merchandising, staffing, scheduling, and operations.Exceptional people-leadership and communication skills.Ability to follow directives, adhere to brand standards, and work within structured systems.Experience opening new stores or supporting multi-unit operations is highly beneficial.Floral knowledge or interest in floral design is a plus.Preferred Skills :
Project-management skills, especially around new-store openings.Ability to thrive in fast-paced airport environments with high volumes and tight standards.Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and time-management abilities.Tech-savvy (POS systems, scheduling tools, inventory apps, basic business systems).Experience with franchise operations, manuals, or standardization (preferred, not required).Job Type : Full-time
