MKR Service Attendant

Primary Responsibilities :

Perform any combination of the following duties to facilitate food service; carry dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen; replace soiled table linen and set tables with silverware, glassware, and china. Clean and polish equipment, such as coffee urns, cream and mil dispensers. Assist waithelp in setting of tables and servicing guests. Clean and is responsible for the cleanliness of the dining room area. Detail of work may vary from one dining room to another. May transfer food and dishes between floors / rooms of establishment.

Essential Duties :

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, personalizing the service.
• Pour water, coffee, tea, etc., assist waithelp in servicing guests.
• Remove soiled linen, dishes, silverware, glassware from tables and transport to kitchen.
• Refill beverages.
• Replace soiled table linen and reset tables for service.
• Pick-up food from kitchen and assist in serving guests.
• Clean and polish equipment.
• Perform side duties before service and after restaurant service.
• Consistently perform tasks as specified on sequence of service standards and SOPs.
• Keep supplies stocked in his / her station.
• Recognize and appropriately respond to irate patrons; contact manager on potential problems.
• Able to answer questions regarding the menu and beverages served in the restaurant.
• Pick-up and stock linen and other supplies
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
