About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Aircraft Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems, coupled with extensive experience in aircraft integration. As a pivotal member of our engineering team in Stennis, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of various aircraft systems, optimizing performance, functionality, and safety.

Responsibilities

Aircraft System Integration : Lead the integration efforts of mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems into aircraft platforms, ensuring compatibility, reliability, and performance.
Design and Development : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine integration strategies, incorporating industry best practices and innovative solutions.
Requirements Analysis : Conduct thorough analysis of system requirements and specifications to inform integration processes, identifying potential conflicts and proposing mitigation strategies.
Documentation and Reporting : Generate detailed documentation of integration processes, test results, and performance evaluations, maintaining accurate records and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement : Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements, driving continuous improvement initiatives across integration workflows.

Desired Skills And Experience

Education : Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Experience : Minimum of 8 years of experience in aircraft integration or a closely related field, with a proven track record of successful project delivery and leadership.

Technical Proficiency : In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, including mechanical, electrical, and avionics components. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA) is essential.

Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot complex integration issues and develop effective solutions.

Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences effectively.

Team Leadership : Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Attention to Detail : Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work within established timelines.

Adaptability : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving project requirements.
