About The Position

Must-Have : Experience in Ophthalmology, Ortho, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Robotics, Total Joints, and ENT

Description :

Position Specialty : Ambulatory OR CST

Scheduled shift is 10 hours, 4 days a week, from 06 : 30 AM to 05 : 00 PM.

Scheduled days off will be based on departmental needs, but special requests may be considered if possible.

Scheduled late shifts a few times per month.

On-call requirement : No.

Floating within perioperative facility is possible to meet facility needs.

Block scheduling may be accommodated at management's discretion.

Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.

The unit does not perform general surgery, labor and delivery, or pediatrics.

Candidates should possess a well-rounded skillset in specialties that align with the caseload.

No first-timers accepted.

Local candidates will be considered within a 60-mile radius.

Requests for time off (RTO) must be included with the submission.

Approval of RTO will be based on facility needs.

Travelers may be called off 10 hours per two-week period.

The unit cares for a variety of patients, primarily in Orthopedics and Interventional Radiology.

The pre / post RN collaborates closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR nurses to provide safe and effective patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Daily patient census is estimated to be 5-10.

The unit is equipped with standard OR equipment and features specialized orthopedic instruments and technology.

Travelers should be aware that they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.

All candidates must comply with pre-start requirements.
