Job Description Automation Technologist responsible for executing complex device integration tasks and providing automation support across business units. Role involves system maintenance, troubleshooting, project management, and serving as a technical expert in automation software while mentoring team members and ensuring data quality.
Responsibilities
- Support device integration into automation applications
- Maintain and troubleshoot automation host systems
- Perform device setup and resolve hardware failures
- Manage data quality and historical records
- Implement field automation solutions
- Drive automation projects to completion
- Support field operations and Decision Support Centers
- Collaborate with operations and facilities engineering
- Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Automation) or equivalent experience3+ years E&P Operations experienceCCST certification preferredIndustrial Electrician certification preferredPLC Programming experienceKnowledge of DCS SystemsExperience with HMI DevelopmentUnderstanding of ISA and IEC StandardsStrong communication and project management skillsProficiency in automation system design and troubleshootingRole Details

Pay Rates
W2 $93.73 / hr with Company Truck and Tools1099 $105.80 / hr with Personal Truck and ToolsSchedule
