Remote positions are open to applicants based anywhere in the continental U.S. Hybrid positions are open to applicants based in the Phoenix, Arizona area.

The Role

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will architect, design, build, and deliver technical solutions on the Make-A-Wish America Salesforce platform to support the Make-A-Wish National Office and chapters across the United States. This role will be part of the Salesforce -IT Applications team responsible for analyzing complex business problems and implementing solutions that will enhance the functionality of our growing business applications environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to deliver Salesforce applications and features and is a strategic problem solver to best meet Make-A-Wish's needs. The role will deliver work within an agile framework. The role will also take responsibility for creating design specifications, developing unit test scripts for configuration and code, and preparing technical documentation. This role will build and maintain positive relationships within internal technical teams, vendors, and product teams to deliver value. The position requires the ability to function successfully in both team and independent work environments to support the Make-A-Wish National Office and chapters across the United States.

Knowledge and Abilities

• Salesforce development experience including configuration, customization, APEX, lightning web components, Triggers, Workflows, Approval processes, Reports and Dashboards.
• Strong analytical and product management skills with a keen sense to recommend optimal solution designs that is simple, secure, and adds value to Make-A-Wish's goals.
• Experience implementing and administering Salesforce environments including understanding business needs, taking use cases / user stories and delivering features and functionality, assisting with solution development, testing, training and implementation support.
• Ability to build and maintain strong vendor partnerships to cohesively deliver value.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and accountability mindset.
• Critical problem solving.
• Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with product teams and support teams.
