Job description

IT Support Engineer – Contract through January 2026

We are seeking a IT Support Engineer for a 6-month contract. This role will focus on migrating and merging laptop user profiles and re-registering devices, ensuring minimal disruption to end users during the transition.

What you can expect :

  • Perform user profile migrations and merges on Windows laptops.
  • Re-register laptops to the new Active Directory domain in alignment IT policies.
  • Ensure seamless transfer of user data, settings, and application access during profile transitions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to domain migration and user profile conflicts.
  • Provide hands-on support to end users before, during, and after the migration process.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, issues, and resolutions.

What we are looking for :

  • Experience in Windows desktop support and Active Directory environments.
  • Strong understanding of user profile management and domain migration best practices.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), SCCM, or similar enterprise tools.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft User State Migration Tool (USMT), ForensiT, or similar profile migration utilities.
  • Experience with laptop imaging, reconfiguration, and endpoint management.
