Our client is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst with a strong background in regulatory or financial reporting within the banking or financial services industry. This role will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial data. This is a fully remote position.
Financial Analyst's Responsibilities and Duties :
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal reporting standards.
- Work closely with data, finance, and risk teams to validate data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
- Extract, transform, and validate large data sets using SQL or other analytical tools.
- Support ongoing enhancements to financial data processes and reporting workflows.
- Collaborate on the interpretation and application of Basel and CCAR frameworks when applicable.
- Analyze complex banking products such as loans, deposits, and credit card portfolios.
- Maintain a strong understanding of data flows, metadata, and financial systems across the organization.
- Provide analytical insights to support decision-making and regulatory readiness.
Financial Analyst's Qualifications and Skills :
