Director - Risk Management & Compliance

Reportingto the President & Chief Executive Officer, The Corporate Compliance andRisk Management Director is responsible for designing, implementing,maintaining and communicating an effective corporate compliance and riskmanagement program for RCH and its entities The Director oversees the managementof the central database for hospital contracts and policies and procedures. Thisposition is accountable to county, state and federal agencies in addition toother external regulatory agencies for maintaining compliance with applicablelaws, regulations and standards.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE :

1. Minimumof five years of experience in compliance and risk management in a healthcaresetting preferred.

2. Bachelor’sdegree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related fielddesired : Master’s Degree or Juris Doctor Degree preferred.

3. Knowledgeable inregulatory requirements : Federal, and State regulations including but notlimited to, Title 22 licensing requirements, CMS Conditions of Participation,accrediting bodies such as The Joint Commission, California Department ofPublic Health, and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES :

1. Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC)and Certified Professional in HealthCare Risk Management (SPHRM) required ormust be achieved within 12 months of hire preferred.

2. MAB is requiredto be completed on the first day of work. (Grandfathered : existingemployees must complete new requirements by 6 / 9 / 2025.)
