Lead Project Manager
The Lead Project Manager is an advanced-level contributor within AbbVie's advertising agency, supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of complex projects for specialty brands. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and partners on deliverables to ensure alignment with company standards. The ideal candidate is energetic, highly organized, and possesses strong communication skills and attention to detail, ready to take on significant responsibility while preparing for future senior leadership opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Understand company guidelines including corporate branding, promotional material development, Veeva PromoMats review, and corporate compliance.
- Collaborates with internal teams to ensure client requests and expectations are met.
- Lead daily project tracking, documentation, and prioritization, maintaining clear visibility of tasks and timelines.
- Participate in cross-functional discussions to ensure teams are aligned on project resources and timelines.
- Proactively identify project risks, escalate complex issues to senior managers, and recommend solutions as appropriate.
- Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and multitask to enhance productivity and manage workload.
- Exhibit advanced organizational skills to prioritize, multitask, and manage a substantial workload within tight deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to the optimization and documentation of agency workflow processes.
- Support onboarding and training of new team members, providing guidance without direct management.
Accountability / Scope
Reports to Senior Project Manager, Neurology and Oncology & APS NOS.Partners with account and creative team on project initiatives.Adherence to all company-wide financial policies.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.5-7 years of project management experience in advertising or a related field preferred; pharmaceutical experience a plus.Excellent communication skills : verbal, presentation, written.Organized, positive and energetic, eager to grow in a project management role.Collaborative, with attention to both details and overall goals.Additional Information
The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
