Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Position Overview A leading medical center in Miami is seeking experienced CRNAs for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This assignment offers Monday through Friday day shifts with required weekend coverage twice per month. CRNAs must have at least two years of experience and be comfortable performing regional anesthesia (spinals and epidurals). The role involves a broad case mix including general, neuro, GI, and OB / GYN. Call is not required. Temporary privileges are available for clean files. Assignment Highlights 8-hour day shifts : Monday-Friday (7 : 00a-3 : 30p) 12-hour weekend shifts : Saturday or Sunday (7 : 00a-7 : 00p); minimum 2 weekend days / month Minimum requirement : 20 shifts per month No call No trauma cases Credentialing time : 90 days (temp privileges available for clean files) Average monthly case volume : 2,500 Primary case types : General, Neuro, GI Required procedures : Spinals, Epidurals HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission-certified agency Travel and lodging prepaid Medical malpractice insurance provided Skills & Experience Active Florida ARNP license - Required Board Certification (NBCRNA) - Required ACLS, BLS, and PALS (AHA only) - Required Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience - Required Must reside outside of Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties - Required No current or prior employment at Envision sites within 75 miles of facility in the past 24 months - Required Clean malpractice and background history - Required Assignment Schedule Shift Type Time Notes Weekday Day Shift 7 : 00a - 3 : 30p 5 shifts / week Weekend Shift 7 : 00a - 7 : 00p 2 weekend days / month (12-hour shifts) No overnight or weekday call Must be able to meet full-time minimum shift requirement
