Job Summary and Responsibilities
Job Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Diseases.
Completion of an ABIM-accredited Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship, with board eligibility or certification in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology
Proven experience and proficiency in the management of a breadth of temporary mechanical circulatory support devices including VA-ECMO, Impella CP / RP / 5.5, Protek-Duo, IABP, etc.
Expertise in the peri- and post-operative care of durable VAD and patients with heart transplants
Demonstrated commitment to teaching and mentoring, with a preference for prior academic experience.
Possess an entrepreneurial spirit, eager to contribute to the growth and development of our expanding program.
Ability to obtain full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals.
Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure before starting in the position
