Jaxon Engineering is looking for an On-Site Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team.

Security Clearance : Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) Secret clearance or higher is required
for this role. All clearance related costs will be covered by the employer.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000

Requirements :
Assist with PLC programming and network architecture designs to include block diagrams, wiring diagrams and building footprintsCreate Bill of Materials (BOMs) for projects that encompasses everything needed from fabrication to installationCreate a power load analysis chart for installation projectsContribute to existing hardware projects through development, debugging, testing, and documentation.Assist with product installation in the field including on-site troubleshooting as needed.This position is fully onsite at facility in Colorado Springs, CO.Education :
Bachelor’s (or advanced degree) in Electrical Engineering preferred; degrees in other discipline Engineering or related technical fields will be considered with relevant experience.Required Job Qualifications :
Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements, streamline activities, and develop efficiencies.Demonstrated ability to design block diagrams, wiring diagrams and circuit designsDemonstrated skill in technical writing and / or documentation.Must possess a valid driver’s license.Willing to travel to provide customer support (typically 15% travel).Desired Job Qualifications :
Active Department of Defense SECRET security clearance2+ years of professional experience in R&D or PLC EngineeringProfessional experience using Vizio, KiCad, AutoCAD or similar circuit design toolsProfessional experience using Studio500, Connected Components or similar PLC programming softwareProfessional experience with PCB design and implementationExperience writing white papers and working on R&D projectsDemonstrated skill in technical writing and / or documentation.Who we’re looking for :
