Job description

TPMG is seeking a BE / BC Pediatrics Neonatologist (32 hours / week) to join our team in Roseville, CA. Kaiser Permanente Roseville Medical Center Women’s and Children’s Hospital is one of three tertiary care pediatric centers for Kaiser Permanente in Northern California. We are one of the largest Kaiser Permanente delivery centers in California with about 7,000 deliveries per year. At 60 beds, with an average daily census of about 45, our CCS certified level 3 NICU is the largest for Kaiser Permanente in California. We offer a large range of services in our NICU including a Small Baby Unit, whole body cooling, high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and ROP laser surgery. We have a full complement of pediatric subspecialists on site as well as a full complement of pediatric surgeons including general pediatric surgery, pediatric ENT, pediatric urology, pediatric neurosurgery, and pediatric orthopedic surgery. Babies requiring cardiothoracic surgery and ECMO are transferred out. Our department consists of 16 neonatologists, 8 well baby pediatricians, and 1 hybrid pediatrician. As a group we provide care to the NICU, labor and delivery, and postpartum and we also have an active transport team which we staff. We have many opportunities to do rewarding committee and QI project work. Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA

Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine

Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine or eligible for board certification and expected to be certified within 3 years of hire.

Active unrestricted California Medical License

Physician empanelment in CCS (California Children’s Services) as a neonatologist
