Northrop Grumman Defense System Sector is currently seeking a Production Maintenance Manager to join our team in Rocket Center, WV, just outside of Cumberland, MD. The Allegany Ballistics Laboratory (ABL) site in Rocket Center designs, develops, and manufactures tactical rocket motors, medium caliber ammunition, composite components and end items, and fuze and electronics equipment. For decades, the dedicated and highly skilled team at ABL has supported national security efforts by developing and building defense systems for DoD customers and U.S. allies.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma with 10 years of demonstrated experience as a lead or a supervisor in a manufacturing setting OR Associates / Bachelors college degree in a technical or management field with 6 years of experience.
• Availability and willingness to work any shift including some weekends as required.
• Ability to provide sound judgment to ensure overall quality and efficiency of the department.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and MS Office.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic equipment.
• Eligible to obtain a DoD Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite.
• Flexible with work assignments.
• Proactive safety attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

Primary Level Salary Range : $84,300.00 - $126,500.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
