Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in school settings is sought for a middle school position in Grass Valley, CA. This is a contract role for the 2025-2026 school year, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade with speech and language needs.

Position Details :

  • Location : Grass Valley, CA
  • School Level : Middle School (TK-8 caseload)
  • Type : Contract, Non-School Year (NSY)
  • Hours : 0.8 FTE (7 hours per day)
  • Start Date : August 14, with possible early onboarding
  • On-site presence required
  • Number of Openings : 1

Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across TK-8
  • Conduct ongoing assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of inclusive education strategies
  • Qualifications :

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid California School Speech Pathologist Credential or equivalent licensure
  • Experience working with school-age children in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative educational environment
