Energy Associate

Gibson Arnold & Associates is seeking an attorney with 3+ years of experience to join a firm in Denver, CO. Responsibilities for this role will include :

• Advising clients on regulatory compliance, permitting, and environmental matters related to energy projects;
• Drafting and negotiating complex energy-related contracts, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), joint venture agreements, and asset purchase agreements;
• Representing clients before federal and state regulatory agencies, including FERC, PUCs, and environmental boards;
• Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda on energy law issues;
• Supporting project development and financing for renewable and conventional energy projects;
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on energy infrastructure transactions and disputes;
• Monitoring and analyzing legislative and regulatory developments affecting the energy sector.
